Review: Calvin Harris – 18 Months

Scottish dance artist, producer and mixer Calvin Harris has released his highly anticipated third studio album ’18 months’ which is heading straight to the top of the UK album charts in its first week.

’18 months’ is the follow up to Calvin’s 2009 album ‘Ready for the Weekend’ which sprung him into great success with tracks such as dancefloor fillers ‘Im not alone’ and ‘Flashback’

’18 months’ see’s Calvin Harris collaborating with some of the music industry’s biggest names including Florence Welch on his last single ‘Sweet Nothing’ which went to number 1 in the singles chart and new single ‘Drinking from the bottle’ with Tinie Tempah. The album also includes collaborations with Ellie Goulding and also previous singles from the past year with Kelis, Rihanna, Example and Neyo amongst his solo effort of ‘Feel so close’

This is certainly Calvin’s best album of his career and as his albums get better everytime, I for one can’t wait for his next!
