‘Now You Are Free‘ is the brilliant new track from New York 3-piece Augustines.
The track is taken form Augustines self-titled album and is about hope and getting away from somewhere that has been holding you back for so long explains vocalist Billy McCarthy. The lyrics to ‘Now You Are Free’ were written on the Northern Coast above San Francisco by McCarthy as he cruised up the coastline by motorbike on an epic journey that spanned over thousands of miles. With so much to take in between Africa to Alaska, Augustines’ new album was defined by this journey and a catalyst for the ‘Walkabout Tour’ that is ongoing worldwide.
‘Now You Are Free‘ is a great feel good track and the themes of the track is something everyone can get on board with. Feelings of hope and the need to get away from someone, something or somewhere that is holding you back is something everyone experiences at some point so this is a great track that everyone can get on board with.
Augustines are currently on tour and can be caught in the UK during May.
