Today we are extremely proud to be premiering ambient electronic artist and producer J. Juva‘s innovative new single ‘Zebrafish’!
J. Juva – aka Joel Neale – may not be a name you recognise…. yet, but watch this space. ‘Zebrafish’ combines woozy synths with twinkling melodies and celestial chimes that are incredibly mesmerising from the offset. For an instrumental track, this one certainly continues to hold your attention throughout and we can’t get enough.
Talking about the track, Joel explains, “I made this track in response to learning about Zebrafish and how much they have in common genetically with us. 84 percent of genes associated with human disease have a zebrafish counterpoint. I mixed organic orchestral elements like flute, harp and strings with glitchy drum and noise sampling and harsh synth sounds to portray both sides of this, and used melody to tie them together into something that conveys how beautiful this discovery is.”
‘Zebrafish’ – out tomorrow – is taken from J. Juva’s upcomign debut EP ‘Protozoa’, out 24th July 2020.
