Filled with a plethora of interesting sounds intricately laid out, the corresponding video for Flying Lotus’ Ready Err Not, leaves you wondering how it all fits together. Yet if you were to take any film maker and force them to listen to this song whilst writing the script to a short film the result would be exactly what you’d imagine, something of a horrendous DMT trip.
Grotesque and somewhat disturbing, I still managed to sit through the entire video. My eyes glued to the screen, both the music and disturbing imagery kept me enthralled. If Flying Lotus’s music is good, then his music videos pay the perfect complement by being seemingly unrelated to the music yet captivating.
