The Menzingers have released their infectious new single “I don’t want to be an asshole anymore”. The track is taken from new album “Rented World” which is released through Epitaph on April 21st.
The song is a realisation of hostility towards a loved one “I’ve been wandering nightly, through the garden of your heartache, always making a mess, always stumbling out the door, but I don’t wanna be an asshole anymore“. With the war cry of “I don’t want to be an asshole anymore” they are proclaiming and promising that they will be better.
If this track from The Menzingers is anything to go by, new album “Rented World” is going to be an absolute belter and could well be one of the contenders for album of the year 2014!
