The first wave of bands for a new Manchester festival, Summer In The City, has been announced.
The new festival, which will be held at the Castlefield Bowl, will be headlined by Pixies and iconic Mancunian band James.
Pixies will play Thursday 10th July, and will be joined by Royal Blood, with James performing on Friday 11th July, joined by special guests Starsailor. The latter will be performing for the first time in over five years, having reformed especially for the event.
Tickets for each days go on sale this Friday, 21st February at 9am.
