Longitude have unveiled a brand new festival app, powered by Three, enabling festival-goers to plan their weekend more efficiently.
Three have created the ‘My Festival’ app as one of the most exciting developments for music fans this Summer. The app allows Longitude-goers to plan their weekend by ‘favouriting’ acts they wish to see from the line-up, and activating personalised reminders when an act is about to start.
Also featured in the app is a ‘News’ section, so people can keep up to date in real time, an ‘About’ section for people to gain access to vital information such as travel and ticketing, and a ‘Map’ feature to make the stages across Marlay Park easier to find.
Photos taken over the weekend can be seen in one place within the app, known as the ‘PhotoWall’ feature, under the hashtag #Longitude2015.
And as if all that isn’t impressive enough, this new Longitude app will play host to ‘3Deck’, a new feature through which Three has partnered with Maser (one the Ireland’s most exciting visual artists), to give festival-goers the best view in the house. Essentially, 3Deck is a viewing platform in front of the main stage which people can access through Three’s own rewards app 3Plus, where people can book an act’s time slot two hours prior to secure the top viewing spot.
This official Longitude Festival App, powered by Three, will be available on iPhone and Android this Wednesday, July 15th at 10am.
