Laura Groves is set to release her first self-produced release, ‘Thinking About Thinking’- an EP which drops on September 30th via DEEK Recordings.
Whilst the title track ‘Thinking about Thinking’ presents an ode to procrastination, it’s clear that Laura’s time in thought has been well spent. ‘Pale Shadows’ and ‘Easy Way Out’ (which features the full Nautic cast) welcome us into her own very personal mantras and the artist’s resolve and self-knowledge is captured in the refrain to the lush opener ‘Inky Sea’: ‘I’m not waiting for something to find me’.
