Experimenting with music since she was just ten years of age, Australian singer songwriter Tara is finally ready to infuse our ears with her unique sound.
Tara combines her ambiguous vocal, darting between strength and softness, with an undercurrent of electro clicks and synths, laying them against a choral backdrop of ethereal echos. The result is a sonic density reminiscent of Massive Attack and a powerful femininity comparable to the likes of Kate Bush and Natasha Khan.
Relaying her roots in Dublin, she’s taken to the stage at Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch Festival’ along with her band and has featured as the Irish Times ‘Gig of the Week’, suggesting that this is a girl you might want to keep your eyes on!
