Launchbox: She Crazy

Grunge, alternative rock, post-hardcore, punk…all genre’s of the fine art that is rock that House Of Savages love. The team behind the night scour the streets (and soundcloud/bandcamp pages) of London and the South-East to find the best talent that’s kicking around and for June’s night they stumbled across something very special indeed: meet She Crazy. The trio with kickass attitude and riffs for all.

Listening through to the She Crazy self-titled EP you’re fed elements of 90s-00s grunge and post-revival through a more accessible filter. “Trigger Finger” wouldn’t sound out of place on an early Foo’s record with a similar take on vocal style. “Stalker Song” on the other hand brings something of a little raw 90’s take on alternative rock, with comparisons easily derived from Nirvana through to Bush. Not a bad reflection on one of the greatest eras of rock to date.

Recently they’ve debuted their latest track “Surfing U.A.E” which again embraces that power-chord fun pack of pure anthemic alt. rock. Considering this is the first track they’ve mixed themselves they look like they’re really finding their own sound and lockin that in for future releases. Check the new music out via it’s exclusive stream here.

And remember you can catch them live Thursday 16th June at The George Tavern for House Of Savages.
