Very proud to place award-winning artist Hannah Peel in today’s Launchbox.
Peel combined her excellent music education and creative verve in her debut EP, ‘Re-box’, a four track vinyl that re-imagined 80’s tracks, played on a music box she made herself.
High-profile awards and advert spots followed, reflecting Peels’ technical skill and love of using organic and self-made instruments to create a seemingly flawless composition. Early success was crowned while curating and producing Liverpool’s first AudioVisual festival, featuring installations, unique collaborations and live music performances from artists in New York, London and Liverpool.
Her voice is crystal clear, frighteningly mysterious and utterly gorgeous.
Music needs more Hannah Peels. For now, we’re very excited by this one.
