Launchbox: Frett

Dynamic duo Frett are a very exciting prospect in British music, showcasing incredible soulful vocals with interchanging synths and simplistic guitar melodies, their ear catching sound is attracting interest from the biggest names in music.

In what has been a hugely successful past 12 months for the duo, which has saw their fanbase rapidly increase and airplay from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 and XFM and praise from some of the biggest names in music, including Alex Baker, who described the band as “totally brilliant” alongside huge support from BBC Introducing.

The duo’s incredible sound see’s a mix of synth interchanging with indie guitar melodies joined up with pulsating drums; energetic music that has your attention from the first second to last, new single ‘Porcelain’ is the prime example. ‘Porcelain’ is a very edgy track that builds with intense before an explosion of indie riffing guitar melodies.

Forthcoming EP named ‘EP3’ is already gaining more recognition from the likes of Radio 1 and XFM, and with bands similar like Metronomy taking 2014 by storm, this year could certainly be the year of Frett.

EP3 is released on April 28th with a launch show planned at London’s Sebright Arms on April 25th.
