Launchbox: The Ends

Essex indie rockers The Ends formed back in 2009, influenced on bands like The Clash and The Hives, this 4 piece are full of loud, in your face rock and roll.

If you imagine Damon Albarn fronting a band similar to the Sex Pistols or The Clash and it takes you right into The Ends, they are currently supporting The Enemy on some of their tour dates during their ‘old school’ tour.

The Ends bring the crazy atmosphere of how indie rock gigs should be, full of beer throwing and crowd surfing and still full of attitude and lots and lots of noise. Latest single ‘You Write The Hits (I Write the B-Sides) is the perfect example of how this band roll, you can listen to it below.

In your face, loud and very British is The Ends at their best, and are that one diamond in the rough that has been lacking in the British music industry since we lost The Clash back in the 80’s.  With a 2-night stint at London’s Hard Rock Cafe already to their name as well as many other gigs around the UK, The Ends are ready to give 2014 a real feel of what the punk rock years of British Music was like.
