‘Voodoo Dilate’ is latest single by Kris Menace taken from the album ‘Features’ and finds him teaming up with Royksopp collaborator, Chelonis R. Jones.
The remix package for ’Voodoo Dilate’ includes mixes from Spirit Catcher, Mouillinex & Xinobi, Thomas Schumacher, Douze, Ben Gomori, Yuri The Mind, The Visionaires and Sasch BBC & Caspar.
“We go all the way back to my Get Physical music years while I was recording my Dislocated Genius CD in 2004”, recalls Chelonis on his relationship with Kris.“I always said to myself back then, he (Kris) will certainly be the one to watch in the future. Out of all my team ups over the last decade, he was one of the rare artist I’ve actually wanted to meet along with Booka Shade and Röyksopp.” He goes on, “The song is an ode to Jean Michel Basquiat and the fact that the underground music industry (still) seems to think that I am this dark reclusive voodoo priest.”
