Liverpool Sound City have announced that this years festival will be closed by a special closing party, which will be headlined by the Kooks.
The closing party will take place in the Garage, a special pop up stage in a car park on near the Kazimier venue.
The Kooks last played the event in 2011, at the St Lukes’ Bombed Out Church.
They join an ever growing line up of acts which includes big names such as Kodaline, Jagwar Ma, Albert Hammond Jr and the Hold Steady as well as many many more.
The festival runs from 1st-3rd May in many different venues across the city of Liverpool, and is now in it’s seventh year.
