Up until this year it was a bit of a mystery where new rave/Indie rock Mercury Prize Winners Klaxons went. But 2014 has put the firmly back on the map with the release of their double A single ‘There Is No Other Time’ and ‘Children Of The Sun’.
Speaking of their return “I think we are still a subversive pop band who don’t make straight up pop,” says Simon. “We’re still pretty out there with the music we make but we’ve always succeeded in making something that is still digestible for large numbers of people.”

It seems as though some time away has done the band a lot of good and hopefully they’ll be able to reap the benefits. ‘Love Frequency’ is released on June 9th via Akashic Rekords/Sony Red and was produced by a number of names including James Murphy, Erol Alkan and Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers.
