One thing celebrities have a lot of is cash. Unlike the rest of us, big name celebs like the Kardashian family have more money than they know what to do with. Yes, they (arguably) work hard for it, but when you see some of the cars many of them drive, it is hard not to be envious. So what hot rides have we seen lately in showbiz land?
Driving Miss Kendall
Kendall Jenner: Victoria’s Secret Angel, top model, and older sister to bombshell Kylie Jenner. The lovely Miss Kendall has recently invested her hard-earned cash in a gorgeous pale turquoise classic 1957 Corvette Stingray as a 20th birthday present to herself. The local paparazzi snapped Kendall cruising around L.A. with her best pal, Hailey Baldwin.
According to bystanders, it wasn’t all plain driving and although Kendall can rock a catwalk, she’s less confident behind the wheel of a classic car. Apparently the young driver needed some help to get the car going and when she had to do a U-turn, it took quite some time to complete the manoeuvre. Still, at least she treats her baby with a bit more respect than her younger sister!
Kylie’s Supercar
Young Kylie Jenner was first seen driving at the tender age of 16, way back in 2013. Unfortunately, within a very short space of time, she had already been responsible for a three car collision after she drove into the back of another car whilst driving her Mercedes SUV. Fast-forward two years and Kylie once again hits the headlines after her rapper boyfriend gave her a white Ferrari for her 18th birthday.
A Ferrari is a big car for anyone to handle, let alone a petite 18 year old girl with very little driving experience, so it’s not surprising that Kylie was reportedly very nervous about taking her muscle car out for a ride. Fortunately, Kaitlin Jenner was there to help her out and the duo have been spotted on a racetrack doing a few practice loops so Kylie can get used to handling a high performance super-car.
Khloe’s Velvet Ride
Big sister, Khloe Kardashian, also has great taste in cars, in particular iconic all-terrain Range Rovers. No doubt Khloe enjoys having a bird’s eye view of other road user’s as she cruises around L.A. in her huge vehicle, but thanks to a recent custom paint job, she certainly won’t be able to hide from the paparazzi for long.
Khloe’s car is quite possibly the only vehicle in the world to be covered in fabric Yes, her Range Rover is now sporting custom black velvet wrap. Different – yes, but practical? Hardly!
The Lap of Luxury with Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian also likes her luxury car, so nobody was surprised when she bought a brand new $500k Rolls Royce Phantom. It’s not her first, however. Kim has owned many cars, including luxury Mercedes and two other Rolls Royce.
Taking a driving theory test is the first step on the road to a full driver’s licence. You probably won’t be able to afford a car as swanky as those owned by the Kardashians, but any car is better than no car!
