The former Smiths man has announced details of a nine date UK tour and details of his new single ‘New Town Velocity’.
‘New Town Velocity’ will be released on July 22nd, the single appears on his debut solo album ‘The Messenger’ which was released earlier this year. Talking about the new single, Johnny Marr said “It’s about reconnecting with the feelings I had growing up, the ones which shape you”.
Alongside a few UK festival dates this summer, Johnny Marr will play:

October 18 – Roundhouse, London
Tickets go on sale at 9am, June 21st.
