Former Smiths axeman Johnny Marr has announced a solo UK tour for October.
Marr will play a 13 date tour in support of his 2013 solo album The Messenger, although it is believed he is working on new material and a follow up album.
The Manchester man recently performed shows wearing a specially made cast, having broken his arm just days before he was due to play at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.
The tour will include a homecoming show at Manchester’s O2 Apollo.
