The Human League Announced As Final Bulmers Live At Leopardstown Act

One of the biggest selling UK artists of the new wave synthpop era, The Human League have been announced as the closing act of this year’s Bulmers Live At Leopardstown festival.

The 1980s lit up as the height of their career as a band when ‘Don’t You Want Me’, ‘Human’ and ‘The Sound Of The Crowd’ dominated their discography. ‘Don’t You Want Me’, which charged to the number 1 spot in the UK charts in 1981 and the US charts in 1982, featured on their most successful album ‘Dare’, which the band are still renowned for today.

Their successful journey brought them four top 10 albums, eight top 10 singles and years of touring and festival appearances. Now they’re set to play the final date of Bulmers Live At Leopardstown – a weekly festival held on Thursdays at Leopardstown racecourse, featuring plenty of daytime activities and ambient live music evenings.

The Human League join the line up on August 13th following Paddy Casey (June 11), The Hot Sprockets (June 18), Delorentos (June 25), Hermitage Green (July 9), The High Kings (July 16), Damien Dempsey (July 23) and The Stunning (August 6).
