Holi Rave & Indian Street Food Feast-ival

Join in the worldwide celebrations for this year’s Indian festival of Colours in Birmingham!

Taking place at the recently opened warehouse concept Amusement 13  on Saturday 21st of March, the programme is packed to the brim with celebrations of the culture and well worth a day out.

A collaboration between Shaanti’s Eastern Electronics Festival (E.E.F.) and Taste & Liquor for their debut event, combining established names in European event organisation; Shaanti and E.E.F with brand new outfit launching at the event.

Whether it’s incredible Indian Street Food shining a light on the talented diversity in the Midlands or artists like My Panda Shall Fly, who have previously performed on Rinsefm and Boiler Room amongst others. Bringing Bhangra back to where it started, Surinder Rattan is noted as a highly influential producer who brings along home-grown talent in the form of MC Cheshire Cat.

From Manga Singh, MD of Taste and Founder of Liquor Indian Street Food Feast-ival; “Shaanti is always exciting, because they offer a very tasteful selection of events. For us it’s an honour to launch with their second festival; Holi Rave – they’re unique and you know they’re going to put on an incredible event. Combining their love for music with our love for food gives the public a great way to try lots of different world flavours and sounds without having to leave Birmingham.
Indian Street Food Feast-ival also provides an opportunity for start-ups and small businesses to get out there and give it a go – without any overheads, it’s important to support local chefs and produce – it’s an ideal setting to engage with new customers face to face and introducing new and exciting dishes from Bombay to Calcutta, from Lahore to Birmingham.

Whether it’s colour powder celebrations, face painting, henna tattoos or just some incredible talent from the UK’s second city, this promises to be the start of something legendary. Wouldn’t you love to be part of the beginning?
