Foo Fighters For Slane 2015 With Kaiser Chiefs, Hozier & More

MCD have announced this morning that Foo Fighters will headline Slane this Summer, May 30th.

Special guests on the night include Kaiser Chiefs, the rapidly risen star that is Hozier, with more to be announced. There is set to be five acts in total.

Having announced their UK tour last week, Foo Fighters sold 300,000 tickets, including a massive 160,000 across two Wembley shows. Their new studio album ‘Sonic Highways’ was received incredibly well and sold in excess of 16x platinum.

Kaiser Chiefs bounced back with their fifth studio album last Summer which shot to number 1 in the UK. Having sold over 3 million albums in the UK and over 1 million singles with hits ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Ruby’, Kaiser Chiefs are also set to support Foo Fighters in South Africa and South America over the next two months.

Irish singer/songwriter and notable icon, Hozier, has been one of, if not the, most impressive and fastest breakthrough artist of the year. Having released his debut, self-titled album in December, he sets of on a string of sold out Irish shows next week and is also set to play 20 sold out US shows throughout February and March.

Tickets for Foo Fighters at Slane go on sale on December 1st at 9am and are priced at €79.50.
