Birmingham-based quartet fistpump! burst onto the scene with the release of their explosive debut single Toyota Hellfire out now.
Combining midwest emo with post-hardcore soundscapes, Toyota Hellfire is oozing with grit, energy and nostalgia throughout. Already a fan favourite on the live circuit, the band are excited to share their anthemic debut with the rest of the world. Talking about the release, the band explain, “the process for writing this was a bit different to how we usually approach writing. We tend to write our ideas individually, then presenting them in rehearsals. This song came to be through sitting in a room with each other, catching the same wavelength and letting it all just flow, the song almost wrote itself!”
Already well-known on the local live circuit fistpump! have also began to create a small but thriving midwest emo community within Birmingham itself. They have recently supported the likes of Vienna and Chasing Dolls at their debut headline shows, as well as performing at Lazy Twosteppers day festival at Dead Wax. With a number of festival and support slots already under their belt, Fistpump! are geared up and ready to showcase their unique sound to a global audience.
