First Wave of Bands Announced For The UK Leg of Vans Warped Tour 2013.

Vans Warped Tour have today announced the first wave of bands for the 2013 UK leg of the tour. Rise Against who have been releasing politically charged punk rock songs since 1999 and will be returning to the UK in November to headline the monster energy stage.

Rise Against are part of a very small group of punk rock bands who have got a top 40 album in the UK, 2011’s Endgame. Canadian punk rockers Billy Talent will also be joining Rise Against during this years now extended 2 day festival at the Alexandra Palace in London.

As well as the big names Warped Tour is also treating us to newcomers Capture The Crown. The Australian Hardcore band’s Debut single “You call that a knife? This is a knife” racked up over 6 million YouTube views and their debut album getting great reviews are definitely one to look out for this year.

Japanese electro-metalcore band Crossfaith will also be joining the bill along with ex-The King Blues front man Itch. After leaving The King Blues Itch is in mood for slowing down and continues his politically charged music and is set to make a big impact this year.

Yellowcard will be returning to the UK with their unique Violin pop-punk anthems to play this years tour along with fellow pop punk band Real Friends who will be making their UK debut.

This years UK leg of Vans Warped Tour will be spread over 2 days and 4 stages. With over 45 more bands to be announced and the traditional show of extreme sports there is no excuse to not be at the Alexandra Palace on the 16th and 17th of November.

Tickets are available to buy from 6pm on the 3rd April.
