East India Youth has today unveiled the video for new single ‘Dripping Down’.
The single is taken from his debut album, Total Strife Forever, which is released on 13th January, 2014.
The video was directed by Joe Spray, who he worked with on previous single ‘Looking For Someone’. On making the video, Spray has said, “It’s a really varied and complex song, with really slippery lyrics. This is what makes it so powerful, but was a real challenge to find images to fit. I didn’t want to do anything that was overly direct in relation to the lyrics, anything that was too literal. Instead I wanted to touch on the core emotional atmosphere of the track; which for me is a space between melancholy and a willingness to move on”.
