Crystal Fighters have announced details of their highly anticipated second album. Entitled ‘Cave Rave’, the album will be released on Zirkulo/PIAS on the 27th May 2013.
‘Cave Rave’ was written in the Basque hills, a region that has been integral to Crystal Fighters’ sound and that inspired their first album ‘Star Of Love’. Crystal Fighters then decamped to Los Angeles and recorded the album with Grammy nominated producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck/Air/M83/Paramore).
Crystal Fighters have established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts and they’ll be embarking on a world tour in 2013. Most of the shows in May have sold out with their London show at Koko selling out a full six months in advance. The last leg of the tour features a homecoming show at London’s Brixton Academy as well as 8 other UK shows, UK tour dates:
