Crowdfunding Campaign: Inti Rowland

Here at Fortitude we’ve been lucky enough to meet with some hugely successful artists, as well as many who are about to burst onto the scene.

But at our core we’ve always wanted to be a platform for real, undiscovered talent, giving some ace singers an opportunity to share their music and their stories with you.

One of those singers is a chap called Inti Rowland. You may remember we met with him earlier in the year, where he gave us insight into his upcoming debut album (he was also kind enough to come back and do a beautiful Played Bare session, have a little listen).

Inti’s album is ready to go, but he needs a little bit of love, faith and help for the last leg of the journey. He’s set up a crowdfunding campaign for the final push, where he’s hoping to raise £2500. It’s a tall order, but we know he can make it with a little bit of help. More and more artists are turning to this method to get their music out there without a label, and it’s ambitious. But we applaud them.

So if you have a few minutes today, check out Inti’s story on Indiegogo and share it. Tell your friends on Facebook and Twitter and help Inti.

At the very least, you’ll be championing someone who we really believe in. But if you do have a few pennies or pounds to spare, the campaign also comes with some awesome perks – £13 gets you a copy of the album, £50 is a solo living room gig and £100 buys you Inti’s glorious creativity, with your very own song (how cool is that?).

We wish Inti every bit of luck – he’ll be back soon to tell us how he gets on. If you can’t wait until then and you’re in London tonight, he’ll be playing at The Gallery Cafe as part of his summer residency. Entry is free.

Inti’s crowdfunding campaign runs until 24th August on Indiegogo:
