If you already have experience in the armed forces or police, as mentioned earlier, you may be able to take on higher-profile jobs right away, which naturally pay better. However, if you are new to the game, you will have to start from the bottom and prove yourself, whilst continuing to train and learn. As you improve and become more knowledgeable about security, you will then progress to more high-profile jobs.
