CORELLA bring indie back with ‘Blood Drunk’

Indie-rock quartet CORELLA bring us back to the noughties for all the right reasons with the release of new single ‘Blood Drunk’, out now.

Channeling the likes of Feeder and The Enemy, CORELLA bring the party with pulsating drum beats, electrifying guitar twangs and an anthemic chorus. ‘Blood Drunk’ is the first single from their forthcoming EP, ‘Today, Tomorrow, Whenever’ to be released in August 2022.

Talking about the single, the band explain, “‘Blood Drunk’ in particular is a song about how your life can just change at the flip of a switch, no matter how well it’s going, and there’s nothing you can do about it. ‘Blood Drunk’ collects all of that lockdown frustration and fights back with the pace and vigour of a punch in the face. Containing themes of isolation, anguish and aggression borne from months of stagnating indoors.”

‘Blood Drunk’ is out now.
