The official radio station for Napoli Football Club made a statement late last night regarding the future of star striker, Edinson Cavani.
Reports are coming in of a £49m fee being agreed with Chelsea for the powerful poacher, slightly less than his £55m release clause.
The move will see Chelsea show their financial capabilities once more as they will have successfully beaten off competition from the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid for the player’s signature.
The move won’t be made official by the club until the Italian side find a replacement for their 30-goal-a-season striker but it is believed that aside from that complication, the deal is all but done.
