Beck Announces Support For Live At The Marquee

A stand-out artist of his time, Beck is set to play his first ever Cork headline show at Live at the Marquee on June 16th.

It was announced today that Waterford quintet, O Emperor will play support at the show.

Following progressive experience in different bands as they grew up school friends, O Emperor emerged in the spotlight when they released their debut album in 2010, entitled ‘Hither Tither’. The album was one of the 10 shortlisted for the Meteor Choice Prize Irish Album Of The Year and led them to big things such as sharing a stage with the likes of MGMT and Villagers, as well as plenty of festival slots.

Their second album ‘Vitreous’ was also shortlisted for the Meteor Choice Prize in 2013 and held the torch in the lead up to their most recent release, ‘Lizard’, an EP which dropped in March of this year. Similar to ‘Vitreous’, ‘Lizard’ was entirely self-recorded and brings about a loosened, raw sound.
