Beacons festival has today announced its first wave of acts for this years festival, including names such as the Fall and Hookworms.
The festival, which is touted as being the fastest growing music event in the North of England, has revealed a host of bands and DJs to perform across the weekend of 7th-10th August, 2014.
The headline acts include Darkside, Daughter, Jon Hopkins, the Fall, Nightmares On Wax, Hookworks and Dixon.
Also announced are bands such as Toy, Eagulls and East India Youth.
Speaking on the announcement, festival organiser Ash Kollakowski said, “Keeping Beacons going after the flood in 2011 has been really hard, but when Wild Beasts headlined in 2012 the stars realigned and it was totally worth it. Now I don’t think about booking acts just to sell tickets. With Dixon, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery on site over the weekend we genuinely feel we have the 3 best producers in the world at the moment so we are well chuffed”
