Sonisphere festival have today announced seven new additions to their line-up, including thrash metal icons Slayer.
Also included in the announcement were Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Airbourne, Ghost, Gojira and Karnivool.
This new wave of acts will join the previously announced headliners Metallica, Iron Maiden and the Prodigy at the 2014 festival.
The festival, which hadn’t taken place for over two years, will be held at Knebworth Park between 4th and 6th July.
Tickets for the event are priced at £170 and are on sale now.
