Kicking off with the scuzzy hooks and whirring beats of ‘Stupid People’, the album instantly hits you with Moviestar’s unique, vibrant energy and electro-punk vibes, in the vein of the likes of The Go! Team. Continuing the high-octane power, tracks such as ‘Fortune Teller’ and ‘Trip To Mars’ are filled with fuzzy, reverb-strewn riffs and funk-fuelled energy, making for perfect dance-punk anthems with shades of the brooding, attitude-filled vibes of CSS.
