7 Festival Essentials for Reading and Leeds

Heading off to party at Reading and Leeds this weekend? Make sure you pack along these festival essentials with you to Reading and Leeds this year or to any other festival you might head off to!

1. Cereal Bars

If you don’t fancy queuing up or paying lots of money for a bacon roll in the morning, then this is definitely a must-have. Cereal bars are cheap, relatively nutritious and are very easy to pack due to their size. Perfect to fill you up in the morning to get ready to party all day!

2. Disposable Camera

Maybe you don’t want to bring your smartphone or digital camera along to the festival because you’re scared of it getting lost, stolen, broken etc. But you’ll definitely kick yourself if you can’t take any snaps with your friends. Boots sell disposable cameras for under £10 so it’s not going to cause you to look deep into your pockets! This way you’ll capture all the memories you make with your friends and you’ll never get that eagerly anticipated headline set from Eminem…

3. Hand Sanitizer

It’s a festival. You will get a bit dirty. But that’s no excuse to have germs all over your hands. Bring a hand sanitizer; they’re cheap, quick and easy to use and will save you from lining up on yet another occasion.

4. Compeed Blister Plasters

Don’t forget, you’ll be dancing and partying until the early hours of the morning and unfortunately a side effect of that is your feet will suffer. Be sure to take along some Compeed Blister Plasters, they’re perfect for healing your blisters or preventing them from forming on the areas you’re prone to getting them. That way you can dance all through some of the mammoth sets, coming from acts such as Foals and Chase & Status, with no problem.

5. No Rinse Bathing Wipes

Again, shower queues are going to be very long and if you don’t want to wait then you absolutely must take this along with you. That way, you can pack into the NME/Radio 1 tent to watch Azealia Banks and no one will get a nasty scent from you…

6. Portable AA Battery Emergency Mobile Phone Charger

If you are one that wants to take along their smartphone and perhaps put pictures up of you and your friends on Instgram having a great time at one of the many Late Night Entertainment Offerings that Reading and Leeds, then one of these will come in handy. You can charge almost any sort of phone using it and all you need are more AA Batteries, which can be bought almost anywhere!
