What Does 2016 Hold For Catfish and the Bottlemen?

Catfish’s debut album ‘The Balcony’ may have came out in 2014, but 2015 was certainly their year, it was when people started to pay attention to the group and began to adore. Currently, there is a massive hype over them, and rightly so, ‘The Balcony’ was an excellent album, every single song you could give at least 7/10 no problem, ‘Rango’ and ‘Tyrants’ being highlights.

A new album is expected this year, one that is highly anticipated and will truly tell the greatness of Catfish and the Bottlemen. If they can match the success of their first album without replicating it, then that will show the start of a very special group, however something identical in sound or a worse off album will show a huge step back in their career. All things look positive for the group though, they are highly talented songwriters and Van McCann is proving himself to be a great frontman, giving the group a great deal of charisma and character, so I’m sure the new album will better than ‘The Balcony’, but time will tell, though we hope it won’t be too much of a wait.
