Scottish festival T in the Park has today announced a big wave of bands that will be joining headliners Mumford and Sons, Rihanna and The Killers for the 20th anniversary celebrations of the festival.
Big names include Welsh rockers The Stereophonics, Dizzee Rascal, Two Door Cinema Club and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The announcement is also full of the big Scottish names such as a return for The Fratellis and also slots for The View and Twin Atlantic.
A UK festival exclusive comes from the German electronic pioneers, Kraftwerk. Speaking out on the topic, festival direction Geoff Ellis stated, “Kraftwerk are a truly seminal band. Their revolutionary sound altered the face of contemporary music and paved the way for so many artists across so many musical genres.
“They are a massively influential group and an incredible live act, and we are hugely excited to welcome Kraftwerk to T in the Park for the first time this July, in what will be a very special moment in our 20th year celebrations.”
Calvin Harris, also, recently self-confirmed, via Twitter, that he shall be playing the festival, with the T In The Park account suggested that he shall be headlining the Radio 1 Stage.

T in the Park takes place at Balado, Kinross on the weekend of July 12-14. Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am Friday 22nd Feb.
