Wondering whatever happened to that feel-good classic pop sound of the noughties? Well look no further because Melissa Bel has brought it back with vengeance.

Bel’s latest single ‘Dirty Word’ is the perfect song to get you dancing and up from your seat no matter what or where you are – you’ve been warned. From the get-go its kicks of with an infectious pop beat akin to the likes of Katy Perry or Taylor Swift’s energetic fun-filled pop sound. It has a killer hook and an undeniably catchy chorus you’ll have stuck in your head for days to come for all the right reasons. Naturally pop music may not be everyone’s cup of tea but anyone who can appreciate a well-written pop song will enjoy this without a doubt.

This is just a taste what’s to come from Melissa’s latest album ‘In the Light’, which is out on November 4th 2016. If ‘Dirty Word’ is anything to go by, this album’s going to be a good’n.

‘Dirty Word’ is out on October 21st via Bellhop Records.
