The band last released music in 2014.

The triangle lovers are back: Alt-J have teased new music from their forthcoming new album in a mysterious trailer video. The video, posted on YouTube and the band’s social media channels, includes new music titled ‘00110011 01110111 01110111′. According to Stereogum, when put through a binary translator, the code reads, the numbers translate to ‘3ww’. At just 54-seconds long, it’s a small but interesting look at the inventive band’s proposed sound. Watch the teaser video below.

Also according to Stereogum, the album is called Relaxer. It’ll be the band’s third album to day, following the release of the Mercury Award-winning An Awesome Wave in 2012 and their follow-up record This Is All Yours in 2014.

Rumoured track-listing:

In Cold Blood
House of the Rising Sun
Hit Me Like That Snare
Last Year

The band, who formed in Leeds in 2007, already have a busy summer planned, with appearances confirmed at over 10 festivals including Rock WerchterPanorama Music Festival, and Lollapalooza. Now it looks like Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Thom Green are throwing a new LP into the mix.
