Jackie D Williams is breaking through the walls towards huge success, 2013 is looking like the year he stands up and makes sure everyone knows who he is.
Oxford born Jackie D Williams graduated from the famous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. At the age of just 21, Jackie is already a seasoned performer. Recently headlining the Juice FM stage at the Liverpool Hub festival and also opening the Wallingford Blues and Beer festival which gave him the opportunity to play to over a thousand people which has given him the real taste of success.
The RnB sounding vocals mixed with a funk/disco sound, especially on his latest EP is reminiscent of a Jamiroquai track. His sound brings a fresh sound to mainstream music and has the ears of the biggest music critics tingling.
2013 has already been a huge year for Jackie, in January he self-released his first EP ‘Unite With Me’ which reached a massive number 4 in the RnB Itunes chart and performed his first ever headline sold-out show at Camden Barfly in London. He has also gone on to support Delilah, Daley and most recently Bluey Robinson on their tours.
Today (May 14) has saw Jackie release his new EP ‘The Paradox’ with lead single ‘Always On My Mind’ proving a big hit already and receiving a lot of airplay, especially from BBC Introducing. Within hours of the EP’s release it has already hit number 2 in the Rnb Itunes chart and moved inside the top 75 in the mainstream charts.
Jackie is living proof that hard work and determination gets you places and he is now well on his way to the top, he is the guy to watch as he is set to be the next big star in mainstream British Music.
