This E-Liquid is described as “Slamming Flavours of pummelled Apple and whacking Blackcurrant”.
It can be found online in a 30ml for £14.99 at riotsquadeliquid.com. It comes in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and is a 70% VG and 30% PG blend.
This UK made E-Liquid comes packaged in a well-designed box clearly displaying all the characteristics of the liquid on the front as well as the brand logo. The bottle inside displays all the same information and is made of black glass which looks pretty cool but makes it a pain to see how much you have left.
How does it vape?
The 70% VG brings good vapour production and good density to the clouds which aids in it delivering flavour. The vapour really hits the top of your mouth giving you a good nose of the flavours. There is no significant throat hit at 3mg and the sweetness helps it go down nicely.
How does it taste?
On the inhale green apple is immediate; it strikes a balance between sweet and tart that other liquids can’t manage. Blackcurrant becomes apparent jumping into the background rounding out a sweet and tart literally mouth-watering flavour. (Drool Warning).
On exhale blackcurrant takes centre stage, bold and fruity, dare I say Ribena-esque, as the apple lies in the background balancing the sweet with sour. The vapour seems to almost coat the mouth with flavour leaving a lovely blackcurrant aftertaste that has a slight candied vibe.
I mainly had it in a tank as this became my all day vape that I wanted everywhere but It is a superb fruity vape whether you use a tank or an RDA.
This liquid was for me an excellent example of why visiting your local vape-shop is well worth doing. I have never liked apple and blackcurrant flavoured things, I like apples and I like blackcurrants but have never liked drinks or sweets that combine them. However Riot Squad has nailed it, the fruit flavours are true to life and blended perfectly, rounding off with a candied finish. I would, and have vaped this all day and the flavour just keeps coming.
If you like fruit flavours that perfectly balance sweet and tart, Riot Squad – Grapple & Slapcurrant is well worth checking out.
