Video: The 1975 – ‘Girls’

A video about not wanting to make a video” – That’s how The 1975’s frontman Matthew Healy describes the video for the bands latest single ‘Girls‘.

Filmed in LA at the start of the band’s US tour, the video reminds me of that scene from Love Actually with Bill Nighy and those Miss Santa models that makes it all pretty awkward to watch with your parents, you know…this one.

The video is a tongue in cheek poke at the standard “off the shelf” major label video the band were accused of with ‘Sex’  and is just as enjoyable as the track itself. Enjoy below!
