Today, we’re bring you brand new music in the form of Sailing Stones releasing her debut single; ‘The Blazing Sun’.

Sailing Stones is the moniker of Irish born alt-folk singer songwriter Jenny Lindfors, who has just released her stunning debut single titled ‘The Blazing Sun’.

‘The Blazing Sun’ is wonderfully reminiscent of Laura Marling meets the folky side of Kaleo’s A/B album (see: ‘Automobile’, ‘All The Pretty Girls’). Jenny’s vocals fit the style perfectly, blending her thought-provoking lyrics hauntingly and beautifully over a well crafted guitar tune.

As a debut single, it’s an excellent introduction to Sailing Stones’ sound. Fans of alt-folk music will find something to love here, but it’s definitely accessible to a wide number of genres. Sailing Stones is off to a great start here, we can’t wait to hear more from her and hopefully there’s an EP or some more single releases on the way.

Until then, have a listen to Sailing Stones’ debut single, ‘The Blazing Sun’ below!
