Having previously played in a touring band in Scotland, multi-instrumentalist Colin Mckillop – aka OAKLND – has now decided to go solo, and is ready to release his debut single.

Flowing with chilled, soulful vibes and chiming beats, ‘Hold On’ is a truly blissful offering. Interweaving Mckillop’s resonant, emotion-strewn vocals with shimmering hooks, OAKLND succeeds in creating a dreamy electro-pop soundscape; a musically rich sonic delight that’ll brighten these dark Autumn days without a doubt.

Inspired to pursue a solo career by a trip to Los Angeles that helped him to hone his sound, OAKLND is now marking himself out as a definite artist to watch in 2018.

‘Hold On’ is out on 3rd November via AWAL.
