Single Review: Hvmmingbyrd – ‘Gozo’

With previous support from the likes of The Irish Times, and having featured on the soundtrack to Made In Chelsea, Dublin-based duo Deborah Byrne and Suzette Das – aka Hvmmingbyrd – have just released a brand new single.

Flowing with blissful beats and a captivating ethereal splendour, ‘Gozo’ was inspired by a trip to the island of the same name, and aims to induce a feeling of sun-soaked tranquility, and the invigorating joy of living in the moment.

As shimmering electro-infused melodies flow alongside glitchy beats and the simply spellbinding harmonies of Byrne and Das, ‘Gozo’ is a euphoric slice of dreamy pop. Combining elements of traditional folk with electronica, it’s a truly scintillating, joy-filled offering, sure to leave your ears longing for more of this duo’s sweeping, twinkling soundscapes and effervescent charm.
