The Memphis-based band will also play UK shows whilst on tour.

Memphis garage-punk band Nots have announced the details of the UK release of their debut album, We Are Nots, as well as a string of European shows. The album will be released on Friday the 20th of November. The fearsome four-piece are: Natalie Hoffman (guitar/vocals), Charlotte Watson (drums), Madison Farmer (bass) & Alexandra Eastburn (synthesiser). The band’s raw punk and eerie sound is evident throughout the 27-minute debut offering. Loud, unapologetic and aggressive, they power through the album. Hypnotic and unrelenting, they sound like perfect chaos.

Nots recorded the album in the summer of 2014 with Doug Easley (Sonic Youth, Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, White Stripes, Townes Van Zandt, Guided By Voices) at his studio in Tennessee. Nots tour, which include three dates in the UK, are as follows:

November 21st: Le Guess Who Festival, Utrecht
November 22nd: Vera, Groningen
November 23rd: Hab Ets, Antwerp
November 24th: Chameleon Café, Nottingham
November 25th: FUEL, Manchester
November 26th: Heavenly 25 @ The Garage, London
November 27th: Rotondes Club, Luxembourg
November 28th: BB Mix Festival, Paris
