Heading into their ninth consecutive year as a successful educational programme, Irish Youth Music Awards are looking forward to taking over Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on April 16th, 2016.

The Irish Youth Music Awards is an annual event that celebrates the talent of Ireland’s younger musicians aged between 12-19. The programme aims to showcase the musical ability of today’s youth with live performances from finalists Coming from each of Ireland’s regions. These finalists will compete against each other to earn the opportunity to record their own album in a top recording studio.

Along with giving them the opportunity to play at the Aviva Stadium, Irish Youth Music Awards are also providing performers with workshops and masterclasses in vocals, drums, song-writing and bass. They will also be able to attend music industry panels which are being led by industry professionals including lecturers from Dublin’s BIMM.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite for €20 each, or group tickets can be sorted at Youth Work Ireland for youth clubs or projects, costing €120. For more information, head over to the IYMA Official Website, or check them out on their official IYMA on Facebook page.
