Review: Him_Self_Her – Gone Too Long

Many years of underground grafting has clearly paid off for this dynamic DJ-duo. Boldly possessing a solid sound ‘Him_Self_Her’ infuse a depth of deep grooves amidst strong stabs of disco bass, rectifying a whole new level to House.

Creeping up that Beatport ladder, Claire Spooner and Leon Baggotts finally find themselves claiming top spot with monster hit ‘Gone To Long’. Following a fine fusion of “House but with feeling” they are now submerged artists, tearing the circuit with the likes of Lee Foss, H.O.S.H, Solomun and many more.

Happily crafting a career with Cream Couture, they are out on force, spreading the love, producing an online buzz with their award winning tracks. Eagerly promoting big line-ups  with major labels it is fairly evident that ‘Him_Self_Her’ are pushing boundaries that few artists dare.
