Single review: DYVR ‘Rising’

One of our favourite electronic artists has made his 2019 debut and it does not disappoint. DYVR’s new single ‘Rising’ is a gloriously ambient ode to the queer party scene that you need in your life right this minute.

The single takes you on a slow and sombre journey from the offset, blending dark electronics with DYVR’s signature falsetto to create something truly breathtaking. It reminds us of those moments at the end of a party, when everyone’s feeling a bit vulnerable and just needs a bit of a cuddle and a snooze. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride…

Talking about the track, DYVR elaborates, “these nights have been some of the most memorable and important in my life. There are times when you just need to burn as brightly as possible and never stop. Connections are intense, brief, frequent and life affirming”.
