Then fear not, Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D premiers in the UK on 27th September at 8pm on Channel 4.

The TV series is a continuation of the film universe that has been smashing box office records and wowing audiences since the first Iron Man back in 2008. The series is based around Agent Phil Coulson (Clarke Gregg) who has put together a small team of S.H.I.E.L.D agents to work on strange cases of newly emerging superhuman individuals in the world.

The mastermind behind the Marvel film, and now TV universe, Josh Whedon has warned viewers not to expect the superheroes of the films to play a major role in the TV show but still to expect something “very cool”.
